Who am I?

Who am I?

I love creative things and the master Creator.

If you read this page, you will begin to understand who I am and what drives me:  what my purpose in life is, what excites me and what wakes me up in the morning.  I  hope that you read what I’ve written below, ask questions, and challenge me, because I don’t have all the answers.  Enjoy!

My Story:

I have been a Christian since a very young age. I cannot put a specific date or age or experience that my salvation hinges on, but I am confident that I am a child of God. I have been blessed to be raised by amazing parents who love the Lord passionately.  They have blessed me and shared their wisdom and love for Christ with me. I am passionate about Christ and the relationship I have with him.  I like to consider myself teachable, and I am willing to listen to input from other people.

My Purpose:

To abide in Christ and allow Him to fill me with his unconditional love.

What I believe:

I know God is the one and only Supreme Being.  The Bible is divinely inspired and is a source of irrefutable truth and to believe otherwise would be to undermine the entire basis of any truth contained within. I believe in the trinity, consisting of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit all of which have different and unique roles in our life and the world.  I believe that Jesus is the Son of God, was born to a virgin, lived and faced temptations known to man, yet never sinned.  His death is payment for our sins, for which the penalty is eternal separation from God.  We all mess up and as a result deserve to spend eternity in hell, but God’s amazing, wonderful, neverending grace washes us clean from the mistakes we make, no matter how large.  The purpose of life for Christians is represented by this simple statement:

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.  The second is “Love your neighbor as you love yourself…there is no commandment greater than these.”
